By purchasing a Harvest Basket you are signing up for a "seasons" worth of vegetables called a "share". A share is your investment in the growing season and in exchange for the cost of that share we offer a customizable basket of vegetables every week from mid-June to October. A season typically consists of 24 weeks. As with all investments you share in the risk. Farming can be impacted by weather and so that can affect the harvest. The farm grows a wide range of vegetables to ensure you have lots of in-season selection. To get your share, you can either pick-up your share from the farm or one of our depots, or get it delivered right to your door!
Although we also have a storefront where you can buy vegetables as you see fit, being part of our Harvest Basket program means you get freshly harvested produce weekly, priority access to our first harvests, and a break on the price.
*Season starts mid-June

WHAT WE GROW FOR THE HARVEST BASKETS
Our CSA program gives you the experience of eating according to the seasons. The vegetables listed below will be available at different times throughout the season.
Asparagus, beans, beets, bok choy, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, corn, cucumber, eggplant, garlic, kale, kohlrabi, leek, lettuce, melon, onion, parsnip, peas, peppers, potato, pumpkin, radish, rapini, rutabaga, salad greens, spinach, squash, strawberry, sweet potato, swiss chard, tomato, turnip, zucchini
Last year we started to incorporate customized baskets for those part of the Harvest Basket program. This means you will have the chance to view and order in-season items weekly before your pick-up or delivery day. On-farm pick-ups will remain the same, as in you will pack your own share once you arrive based on the vegetables you pre-ordered.
We're excited about this because it means:
- You know what you are getting ahead of time and can meal plan!
- The farmers will have a better ideas of harvest amounts = less waste.
- You don't have to worry about coming early because your vegetables will be there at the end of the day.
If you are planning to be on vacation and will miss certain weeks you have the option of:
- Taking more items when you get back to make up for missed items
- Let us know and we can arrange for you to pick up on an alternate day
- Giving your share to a friend or family member
