Manorun Farm, Nellie James, & La Primavera Farms have come together to bring you a very unique, authentically local, farm to table wedding experience.
Manorun Farm offers a natural, rustic landscape. Chef Ken LeFebour sources his ingredients directly from Manorun to bring you a delicious seasonal meal. La Primavera Farms, located just a few kilometers away from Manorun, provides the venue with all your flower needs!
The Venue
Manorun Organic Farm is a working organic farm set on the edge of the Niagara escarpment in Copetown, Ontario. The farm is run by the Krucker family and consists of 25 acres where they grow a variety of vegetables, herbs, and raise livestock all using regenerative farming techniques
The farm offers a variety of natural environments where you may choose to have your ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. With our old growth forests, sparkling pond and rolling farm fields, we hope that our rural landscape is exactly what you are looking for!
The Food
Chef Ken LeFebour, chef-owner of Nellie James Gourmet and Catering in Dundas, will create a beautiful menu for your very special day using seasonally inspired Manorun grains, herbs, vegetables and pasture raised meats. Chef Ken's globally influenced experience, depth of flavour, and passion for cooking will be reflected in each dish prepared to tempt your taste buds. You have the option between having a buffet style or a 4-course plated meal.
Flowers
La Primavera Farms is a local flower farm, located just a few kilometers away from Manorun. We are a specialty cut flower grower and local wedding flower producer. We have been farming on our property since 1954 and are very passionate about our local economy, ecological cut flowers and wild, nature-inspired designs. Our ability to design and create with flowers we grow, ensures the freshest, most beautiful and cost-effective florals possible. We are excited to offer two packages with a Manorun booking:
Our Seasonal Colour option is a no hassle way to get the most out of your wedding florals. Choose from two colour palettes and let us handle the rest! This option is best for laid back couples who allow for us and mother nature to make detail decisions, while getting the absolute best product blooming at that time.
Our Floral Selection option allows for more detailed and specific floral choices. Chat directly with us about your style, colours and flower choices and we will craft something to your choosing! This option is geared towards the couple who has focused colour scheme and a specific vision.
